The bones were there. A historic double-shotgun Creole Cottage had already been converted into a single-family home, creating a cozy layout that didn't feel cramped. I started with a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams' #COLOR on the walls and my old things found a new home. In the last couple of years, we've since added wood casing around the transition to the kitchen, turned the awkward space under the stairs into a closet, and moved around our art. The art will continue to evolve and shift, I have no doubt!
